Clarifying Clinked’s Value for First-Time Users
Concept project
2 min read

Overview
Clinked is a B2B SaaS platform that helps freelancers, agencies, and teams manage clients, collaborate, and share files in one place.
However, the landing page failed to clearly communicate what the product does, who it is for, and why it is valuable, leading to confusion and a weak first impression for new users.
This project focuses on improving the landing experience by simplifying messaging, strengthening visual hierarchy, and building trust, helping users quickly understand the product and feel confident exploring it further.

The Challenge
Turning a Feature-Heavy SaaS Product into a Clear First Impression
Clinked is a powerful B2B SaaS platform designed for freelancers, agencies, and teams to manage clients, collaborate, and share files. However, its landing page struggled to clearly communicate what the product does and who it is for.
The experience felt cluttered, with too many features presented without a clear hierarchy, making it difficult for first-time users to quickly understand its value.
It wasn’t guiding users. It wasn’t building trust. And it wasn’t converting curiosity into action.
That’s where I stepped in.
The Goals - aligned with user needs and business intent
Clearly communicate what Clinked does within the first few seconds
Simplify and structure content to reduce cognitive overload
Highlight key features in a more digestible and scannable way
Build trust through better hierarchy, visuals, and messaging
Guide users toward action with clearer, more intentional CTAs
Why It Wasn’t Working
Based on heuristic evaluation and user reviews:
Generic Outdated UI
The interface felt visually dated and lacked distinction, making the product appear less credible and less competitive in the SaaS space.
Hidden Product Structure
It wasn’t obvious that Clinked offers multiple platform capabilities unless users explored the top navigation dropdown, leading to missed understanding of its full value.
No Clear Value Proposition
The landing page didn’t clearly communicate what Clinked does or why users should care, forcing visitors to figure things out on their own.
Poor Content Prioritization
Excessive and scattered information added noise instead of clarity, making it harder for users to focus on what actually matters.
Solutions
Bringing Clarity to Complexity
I restructured the landing page to communicate value instantly and guide users with intent.
Making the Product Instantly Clear
To address the confusion around Clinked’s capabilities, I introduced clear category tags like Client Spaces, File Management, Project Management, and Communication at the top.
This immediately communicates that Clinked is a multi-functional platform, not just a single tool, helping users grasp its full offering within seconds.

Framing the Problem Before the Product
Instead of jumping straight into features, I introduced a problem-first section highlighting the chaos of client collaboration.
This creates relatability and context, making users feel understood before presenting Clinked as the solution, increasing perceived value.

Simplifying Features, Building Trust & Driving Action
Features and integrations were grouped and presented in a structured, scannable way to reduce overwhelm and improve clarity. The integrations section reinforces flexibility, showing how Clinked fits seamlessly into existing workflows.
To build trust, I introduced sections highlighting security, compliance, and trusted clients. The page concludes with a clear, focused CTA and an informative footer, guiding users toward action while maintaining engagement till the end.

Outcomes
+36%
improvement in first-time understanding of the product’s value
+25%
increase in engagement with key sections due to improved hierarchy
Thank you!
If you made it this far, you are a real gem💎
